Who is responsible
This website belongs to Kylian Pomares, REALTOR®, a real estate associate with Standard Realty Co. in Calgary, Alberta. When this page says “I” or “me”, that's who it means. I handle personal information in line with Alberta's Personal Information Protection Act (PIPA).

What I collect, and why
I only collect what you type into a form yourself, plus the minimum needed to run the site.

What I don't do
- I don't sell, rent or trade your information. To anyone.
- I don't add you to any list you didn't ask to join.
- I don't use a form for anything other than what it says. A showing request is not a newsletter sign-up.
- I don't share your details with another agent, lender or service provider for their own marketing. If you ask me for a referral — a lawyer, an inspector, a mortgage broker — I'll ask before passing your details on.
Who helps me run the site — and where your information is stored
A few service providers handle information on my behalf. They may only use it to provide their service to me. Some of them store or process information outside Canada, in the United States, where it may be subject to the laws of that country, including lawful access by its authorities.

Listing information on this site comes from the MLS® System under licence. Searching listings does not send your personal information to the MLS® System or to the listing brokerage.
Saved homes. When you tap the heart on a listing, the home is remembered in your own browser (its local storage) — not on my server — so your saved list stays on that device and I can't see it unless you send it to me with the form on the saved-homes page. Clearing your browser data removes it. Maps. A listing's map loads from Google only when you press “Show the map”; Google then receives your IP address and browser details under its own privacy policy. The search's map view draws its street map with images from OpenStreetMap Foundation, only after you switch to “Map”; that provider receives your IP address, browser details and which part of the map you're looking at. Searching an area on the map sends only the map area to my server, not your location.

Emails, and how to stop them
Listing alerts and the market update are sent only after you tick an unticked consent box and click a confirmation link. Every email has an unsubscribe link that works with one click and never expires. Unsubscribing from one list doesn't sign you up for — or remove you from — the other.
When you unsubscribe, I keep a record that you did, and when, so I can show your consent was respected. I don't email you again.
Videos
Some guides include a short video. Nothing loads from YouTube until you press play — until then you see a still image served from this site. When you do press play, the video is played by YouTube in its privacy-enhanced mode, which receives your IP address and browser details and may set its own cookies under its own privacy policy. Every video has a written transcript on the page if you’d rather read it.
Cookies and analytics
This site uses Google Analytics cookies to count visits and see which pages are useful. The data is reviewed in aggregate; I don't use it to identify you or to follow you around other websites, and no advertising cookies are set.
You can block cookies in your browser settings, or install Google's analytics opt-out add-on. The site works the same either way.
How long I keep it
- Form messages and requests: as long as I'm helping you, and afterwards only as long as I reasonably need them for the purpose you gave them or as real estate record-keeping rules require.
- Saved searches and market-update sign-ups: until you unsubscribe. After that I keep the consent record (not your search) as proof of when consent was given and withdrawn.
- Server logs: kept by Netlify for a short period for security and troubleshooting.
Keeping it safe
The whole site runs over an encrypted connection (HTTPS). Only I have access to form submissions and subscriber records. Links in emails are signed so they can't be guessed or tampered with.
Your rights
You can ask me, at any time, to:
- tell you what personal information I hold about you and how it has been used;
- correct anything that's wrong;
- delete it, where the law allows me to;
- stop sending you emails (or just use the unsubscribe link).
I'll respond within 45 days, as PIPA requires. If you're not satisfied with my answer, you can contact the Office of the Information and Privacy Commissioner of Alberta.
If you become a client
Once we sign a service agreement, information about your purchase or sale becomes part of a transaction file held by Standard Realty Co., and the brokerage's own privacy practices apply to it. I'm happy to explain them or put you in touch with the brokerage.
Changes to this policy
If I change how I handle personal information, I'll update this page and the date at the top. I won't use information you've already given me for a new purpose without asking you first.
