Interest rates went up again this week. And if your house sat all summer, the first instinct might be to cut the price. But before you do: will lowering the price get your house sold? Only if the price was the problem.
If buyers are coming through and not writing offers, price isn't the barrier. The listing set expectations the house didn't meet. Cut the price on a presentation problem and you lose money without getting a sale.
