Your lot zoning may have changed. Calgary's blanket rezoning is gone.
Council voted 12 to 3 in April to repeal it, and the repeal took effect on August 4th, 2026. The city says about 99% of affected properties went back to the zoning they had before August 2024.
So, if you bought, or plan to sell, based on what your lot could be redeveloped into, check your zoning now. It may have changed. The full guide is linked below.
